How TSA Helps You

If Your School Has a TSA Chapter

Great news! You're just a few steps away from joining a community of like-minded, motivated students. Here’s how to get started:

  • Talk to your school’s TSA chapter advisor. This is usually a STEM, engineering, science, or CTE teacher at your school.

  • Attend a chapter meeting to learn more about what your chapter does.

  • Pay your membership dues. Your advisor will walk you through the process.

  • Get involved! Choose competitive events, attend conferences, run for office, and make the most of your membership.

  • If you’re unsure who your chapter advisor is, ask your school’s STEM, engineering, or science teacher or CTE office.

If Your School Does Not Have a TSA Chapter

No TSA chapter yet? You can help bring one to your school! Here’s what you can do:

  • Talk to a teacher or staff member who might be interested in serving as your TSA chapter advisor. A STEM, engineering, CTE, or science teacher is a great place to start.

  • Share this website with them, especially the Start a Chapter page for advisors.

  • Reach out to Tennessee TSA. We’re happy to talk with your teacher and provide information they need to get started.

  • Starting a chapter is a team effort, but it begins with student leaders like you!
